Tuesday Tittle Tattle: A Really Lovely Week!

Hiii,

It’s time for another chit-chat with yours truly!

I hope you’ve all had a really lovely Easter Weekend, full of chocolate and lots of family time.

I’ve had a really great week actually. I started off by seeing my friend Tom last Tuesday, we went for lunch at Wagamamas (I had everyone’s favourite Katsu curry, in case you’re wondering) and had a little mooch around town together, which was lovely. We were on the hunt for the perfect pearl earrings for a present for his Mum which made for some pretty funny moments- picture this; a boy and a girl staring into the window of a jewelry store, desperately trying to make it clear that we were, in fact, not shopping for a wedding ring.

Later that week I went over to my friends’ house to celebrate their birthday, (they’re twins!), along with lots of my other friends. We had such a great dinner party, catching up and filling each other in on our lives. Lots of them are still spread across the country at different universities so we don’t get to see one another as much as I’d like, but whenever I see them it’s always so so nice. I really think that’s the true value of a friendship, don’t you? I had a great night and look forward to many more adventures with them as we come into the Summer!

This weekend my parents threw a dinner party for their close friends, who I’ve known since birth. Again it was a really fun night! Keep an eye out for some recipes coming up next Friday, to see what we cooked.

On Easter Sunday my family went to the Steam & Transport festival at the Historic Dockyard. At first I had my reservations, but it was actually a really fun day spent clambering around on the boats and submarine. There will also be a post coming up about that next week, if that’s your kind of thing!

Hope your week is off to a good start! Let me know in the comments what you’ve been up to.

Lots of love,
