Tuesday Tittle Tattle: Catch Up Time!

Good morning guys,

How are you doing?

It’s been a while since we tittle-tattled, hasn’t it? (Yes, I just made that into a verb…) I’ve had such a busy- but fun- few months. So I thought it was about time that we caught up!

Since we last spoke I’ve passed my probation period at work and am now fully stuck into the company- and things have got busy. I’m still learning new things every single day and there was a point a couple of months ago where I wasn’t sure that any more information could fit in my brain. I am really loving the challenge though and am having such a great time doing it. The company I work for is brilliant, I laugh pretty much all day every day and have made some great friends there so far. We all went out for dinner last night after work and I left feeling very lucky and very happy. As I’ve said before, please bare with me if things are a bit stagnant around here, as I’m using up pretty much all of my brain power between the hours of 9-5:30, but I promise that I am doing my best to keep on top of things.

In terms of driving, things are going pretty well! If you’ve been following my tales of driving woe over the past year or so, you’ll join me in celebrating when I say that I passed my theory last month and finally have a practical test booked too, (no, I’m not telling you when). Fingers crossed all goes to plan- however I did stall five times in a row on a hill the other day, so I’m not going to get too ahead of myself… Either way, I’ll let you know what happens.

I spent the majority of my Summer this year at my local cricket club watching my Dad and Brother play, and taking the ‘official’ photos of the games and events. I’ve really enjoyed it because I’ve been able to get some great use out of my camera and (hopefully) improved my skills! I also made a great friend there, Amy, who you might have seen in last week’s post. We have a dinner and dance tonight (Saturday) to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the club, which should be really fun, so I took a half day this week and we went for Tapas and went shopping, ahead of the event. It was really good fun and I bought a lot of things, none of which I needed! I haven’t actually decided what I’m going to wear yet tonight which is incredibly last minute for me, but if you’re interested in that and maybe the make up look I go for, let me know and I’ll do a separate post all about it.

A couple of weeks ago I had my 23rd Birthday, which you’ll know if you read my last Sunday Series post. I had a really brilliant time celebrating with friends and family! At the moment, 23 really feels no different to 22, but I’m hoping it’s going to be a great year. I’ll be publishing a post soon all about my plans and goals for the year ahead and reflecting on the last one. So if that’s something you’re interested in reading, check back later this month.

I think that’s pretty much everything for now, but I promise to be back chatting with you soon.

Have a great day!

Lots of love,
