Hello you lovely lot,
I really hope you’re well and your week is off to a good start so far!
I’m actually writing this on Saturday, not Tuesday, so it’s really more of a Saturday Spill-the-beans (sorry not sorry, I love alliteration- blame it on the fact that I’m a Literature graduate). The reason for that is because *drum roll please* I start my job on Monday so I’m scheduling ahead! Yep, you read that right, my job! I’m finally employed!
If you’ve been following this blog since my graduation, you’ll probably be just as relieved as me, as you’ve been living the job hunt with me.
I’m going to be working for a Search Marketing agency in Folkestone and, if you couldn’t tell already, I’m very excited! The company seem amazing, I had such fun during the recruitment day and actually really enjoyed the interview process, words which I never thought I’d be writing in a blog post… I really can’t wait to get started!
It just goes to show that holding out for what you really want does pay off. I’ve spoken a lot about how I’ve found the transition from student life to graduate life on this blog, which you can read here, and whilst there have been times where I’ve really felt like I’d never escape the funk, this is proof that you can.
So yay! Here’s to going after what you want, and getting it.
To anyone still searching, keep the faith, you’ll get there!
Just a heads up that the posts may be a little random over the next couple of weeks. I’ve tried to schedule ahead as best as I can, but things might be a little rocky around these parts.
Thanks for sticking with me!
Lots of love,
