Hello everyone! Hope you’re all well,
I’ve had a bit of a nightmare few days with technology to be honest. First of all I got the most insane electric shock from a faulty travel hairdryer! Don’t buy cheap electricals everyone, you will end up with a numb arm… My printer is broken too, it’s printing everything in yellow, despite me changing the ink and cleaning the printer heads. Also my laptop has been giving me the run around- refusing to turn on, not recognising my password when it would turn on and then failing to turn off… Safe to say it’s been incredibly annoying when I’ve been trying to submit job applications and write blog posts!
In other news, I’m still obsessed with Downton Abbey. I know I’m insanely late to the party but I’ve basically caught up now, just beginning season 4! I love the fashion, I love the way they speak but I DO NOT love the traumatic storylines. I’m not gonna spoil it for anyone who is even later to the party than I am but one of the Christmas specials was absolutely tragic. When is it back on air? I can’t wait to watch it in realtime and not have to avoid Twitter for spoilers.
Finally, I’m wondering how any fellow bloggers mark their progress? Obviously it isn’t all about numbers and followers, but it would be nice to be able to see how far my content is reaching. I do have Bloglovin which I try and promote but my numbers on there do not seem to correlate at all with my views and followers on my WordPress stats. What’s your best advice for getting your content out there? I’d love to hear from any more experienced bloggers.
In the meantime if you want to follow me on Bloglovin you can click here, I’d really appreciate it because I’m pretty lonely over there!
Lots of love,
